Art Therapist

Background
Art therapists help people improve their mental health and wellbeing by using creative activities like painting, drawing, sculpture, and collage. They work with clients of all ages in hospitals, schools, mental health clinics, and private practice, using art-making as a way to express feelings that are hard to put into words. They listen carefully, ask questions about the artwork, and help people understand what their creative choices might mean about their emotions and experiences.
