Governance Update – Institutional Externalisation Phase 1 Initiated

Status: Operational
Area: Governance & Sustainability
Date: 2026-02-21

As part of the ongoing maturation of WhereWeLearn from an innovation-led project to a durable institutional structure, Phase 1 of Institutional Externalisation has now been initiated.

Purpose of This Phase

The objective of this phase is to reduce structural dependency on a single operator by testing system permeability through controlled outreach and engagement.

This is not a growth campaign and not a publicity initiative.
It is a governance-led exercise intended to:

  • Evaluate whether the platform can attract aligned external contributors.
  • Assess response patterns to structured outreach.
  • Begin building redundancy in stewardship capacity.
  • Strengthen the long-term sustainability of the charity.

Outreach Protocol v1.0

A defined outreach batch has been compiled in accordance with the following parameters:

  • Target group: Independent educators aligned with free and accessible learning.
  • Batch size: 12–15 initial contacts.
  • Cadence: Two structured outreach communications per week.
  • Evaluation point: After completion of 20 outreach attempts.
  • Success threshold: At least one meaningful engagement.

All outreach will be measured, logged, and reviewed against predefined criteria. No emotional or popularity metrics are used in evaluation.

Governance Intent

This phase forms part of a broader objective to ensure that WhereWeLearn:

  • Does not depend on a single individual.
  • Operates with documented succession logic.
  • Can sustain itself through distributed stewardship.
  • Continues to help quietly and effectively.

Further updates will be recorded as the phase progresses.
