Professional Food Forager

 
Background
A professional food forager searches for and identifies wild edible plants, mushrooms, fruits, and other natural foods in forests, fields, and coastal areas. They use their knowledge of local ecosystems and plant identification to sustainably harvest ingredients that are sold to restaurants, markets, or directly to consumers. Foragers must understand seasonal availability, safe harvesting practices, and food safety regulations to do this work responsibly.
