Probation Officer

Background
Probation officers work with people who have been convicted of crimes and are serving sentences in the community rather than in prison. They monitor their clients' behaviour, help them stay out of trouble, and support them to rebuild their lives through employment, housing, and education. Probation officers write reports, attend court hearings, and work closely with other agencies like social services and the police.
