Prison Officer

Prison officers work in prisons and young offender institutions, supervising inmates and maintaining security and order. They patrol cells and communal areas, conduct searches, manage prisoner behaviour, and ensure the safety of both prisoners and staff. They also help with prisoner rehabilitation programmes and may escort prisoners to court or medical appointments.
