Waste Management Officers organize and oversee the collection, transport, and disposal of waste from homes, businesses, and industries. They ensure that waste is handled safely and responsibly, following environmental laws and health regulations. They may work for local councils, private companies, or environmental organizations, and spend time both in offices planning operations and out in the field supervising collection teams.
