Vehicle Mechanic

 
Background
Vehicle mechanics diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, vans, and other vehicles. They use diagnostic tools and their technical knowledge to identify problems with engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other components, then carry out repairs or replacements. Most of their time is spent working in garages or service centres, using hand tools and specialist equipment to get vehicles back in safe working order.
