Sports Development Officer

 
Background
A Sports Development Officer helps people of all ages and abilities get involved in sports and physical activity. They work with schools, community centres, and sports clubs to run programmes, coaching sessions, and events that encourage people to be more active. They might organise after-school clubs, manage sports facilities, work with young people who are struggling to engage with sport, or help develop talent in particular sports.
