Research Chef

 
Background
A Research Chef develops and tests new food products and recipes for restaurants, food companies, and manufacturers. They experiment with ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavours to create dishes that taste great and work well in commercial kitchens. This role combines culinary skills with scientific thinking, as Research Chefs need to understand how ingredients interact and how to scale recipes up from small batches to large production.
