Background
Public librarians help people find and access information, books, and resources in their local library. They assist visitors with research, recommend reading materials, organize library collections, run educational programs and events, and help people use computers and digital resources. They work to make sure everyone in the community can find what they need to learn, work, or enjoy reading.
