Background
Forensic scientists examine physical evidence from crime scenes to help solve crimes. They collect, analyse and document evidence like DNA, fingerprints, fibres and chemicals using laboratory equipment and scientific methods. Their work helps police investigations and can be presented in court to support criminal cases.
