Background
Environmental scientists study the natural world and how human activities affect it. They collect and analyse data about air, water, soil, and wildlife to understand environmental problems like pollution and climate change. They might work in laboratories, outdoors in the field, or in offices, using their findings to help protect the environment and advise governments and businesses on environmental issues.
