Background
Dental assistants work in dental surgeries helping dentists and hygienists care for patients. You'll prepare treatment rooms, sterilise equipment, take X-rays, help during procedures by passing instruments to the dentist, and keep detailed patient records. You'll also help patients feel comfortable and answer questions about dental care.
