Customs Officer

 
Background
Customs officers work at borders, ports, and airports to check goods and people entering and leaving a country. They inspect luggage, cargo, and vehicles to make sure nothing illegal or dangerous is being smuggled in, and they collect taxes on imported goods. They also help prevent crime by stopping things like drugs, weapons, and counterfeit products from crossing borders.
