Background
A credit analyst reviews loan applications and financial information to decide whether banks or lending companies should lend money to individuals or businesses. They examine credit histories, income, debts, and other financial details to assess the risk of lending. Credit analysts write reports with their recommendations and help protect the lender from losing money on bad loans.
