Background
Bakers and pastry artists create bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods using flour, sugar, butter, and other ingredients. They follow recipes, mix ingredients, shape dough, and bake items in ovens, paying close attention to timing and temperature. They may also decorate cakes and pastries with icing, fruit, and other toppings to make them look attractive.
