Agricultural Inspector

 
Background
Agricultural Inspectors visit farms, food processing plants, and markets to check that animals, crops, and food products meet health and safety standards. They test soil and water quality, inspect livestock for disease, examine stored grain and produce, and write reports on their findings. They help protect public health and ensure farmers follow regulations about animal welfare, pesticides, and food handling.
