Astronomer

Background
Astronomers study stars, planets, galaxies, and other objects in space using telescopes and other scientific instruments. They analyse data collected from observations to understand how the universe works, test theories about space, and sometimes discover new celestial objects. Most astronomers work in research institutions, universities, or observatories, spending time both observing the night sky and working with computers to process and interpret their findings.
