Dance Costume Designer

 
Background
A dance costume designer creates and designs the clothing and accessories that dancers wear during performances. They work closely with choreographers and directors to understand the vision for a show, then sketch designs, select fabrics, and oversee the making of costumes. They need to ensure costumes are beautiful, fit properly, allow dancers to move freely, and work well under stage lighting.
