Court Reporter - Verbatim Reporter

Background
A court reporter creates a complete written record of everything said during legal proceedings like trials, depositions, and hearings. They use a stenotype machine (a special keyboard) to type in shorthand, capturing every word spoken by judges, lawyers, and witnesses. After the hearing, they convert their shorthand notes into a readable transcript that becomes the official legal record.
